The Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua is embarking on an innovative project to benefit Puspadi Bali, an organization dedicated to providing orthotic and prosthetic devices to those in need. This groundbreaking initiative involves the digitalization of the conventional production process through the use of advanced 3D scanning and printing technology.

Moreover, on-site scanning can now be conducted even on remote islands, eliminating the need for clients or their guardians to travel to Bali, thereby saving valuable time.

To realize this vision, the project is funded through a generous Global Grant. The budget is divided into two phases. Phase 1, with an estimated cost of USD 56,700, covers expenses such as scanners with laptops, 3D printers, consumables delivery, installation, training, and service. Phase 2, estimated at USD 15,500, involves the acquisition of an additional 3D printer. The total project budget amounts to USD 72,200.
The timeline for this transformative endeavor spans 30 months. Phase 1 is anticipated to take 20 months, during which the foundation for digitalization will be laid. Phase 2, projected to be completed in 10 months, will witness the full integration of advanced technology. By the end of this timeline, Puspadi Bali envisions providing high-quality orthotic and prosthetic devices more efficiently and effectively, revolutionizing the lives of those they serve.
