Who are
we?
The Inter-Country Committee (ICC) Belgium Luxembourg Indonesia is part of
Rotary International's global initiative to foster friendship, international
understanding, and cooperation among Rotary clubs from Belgium, Luxembourg, and
Indonesia. Together, we develop humanitarian and development projects that
address the needs of local communities while strengthening ties between our
nations.
Our
Objectives:
- Promote international
cooperation
through concrete actions in health, education, the environment, and
economic development.
- Strengthen the capacities of
Rotary clubs through
the exchange of expertise, mentorship, and training programs.
- Promote peace and cultural
understanding
through educational exchanges, cultural programs, and intercultural
dialogues.
- Address global challenges such as malnutrition,
access to healthcare, natural disasters, and environmental protection.
Key Areas
of Cooperation:
- Economic Development: Supporting local
entrepreneurship, particularly in agriculture, green technologies, and
handicrafts.
- Health Projects: Improving access to
healthcare, disease prevention, and addressing malnutrition.
- Education and Exchanges: Organizing student and
professional exchange programs between our regions to foster intercultural
understanding.
- Environment: Promoting sustainable
development initiatives, natural resource protection, and renewable energy
solutions.
- Humanitarian Aid: Responding to natural
disasters with rapid aid and strengthening local resilience.
- Promoting Peace: Supporting mediation and
conflict resolution projects to foster peace and tolerance.
